First and foremost it is very important to know that the Malta Evangelical Library is a faith-based ministry and a non profit organization. There are various ways of how you can support us; below are the four major areas:

| Why and how should I pray for the Malta Evangelical Library? |
| ‘Brothers and sisters, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honoured’ (2 Thes 3:1) Pray that God may give our ministry team and governing commitee wisdom in discernment, strength to persevere and creativity as we serve our members and plan our events. Ask God to bless all of our members and visitors through the books given out. Books, which under the Holy Spirit’s influence and anointing may change and transform their heart and lives. Pray that God will enlarge our circle of influence and ministry so that more people hear and respond to the gospel and grow in the grace and knowledge of our Saviour. Please ask Him to bless us who manage the library, our partners and friends for their generous support, service, and encouragement. ‘As you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many.’ (2 Cor 1:11) |

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Malta Evangelical Library. We welcome volunteers to help out by dedicating a few hours of your time weekly or monthly. For all areas of service we ask that you fill out our Volunteer Form. If you have a unique talent that you would like to use for God’s work through the Malta Evangelical Library, please contact us to discuss. You can do this by getting in touch with us by e-mail or by posting the volunteer form found on our website. |
| What will be the role of a volunteer? |

Volunteers perform varied services within the Library. This allows us to make a greater impact in the lives of the people who visit us. They will use their God given gifts, talents and creative abilities to influence souls for Christ by playing an important role in helping our ministry fulfill its mission. The volunteer’s role will mostly be welcoming and mentoring our visitors. It might also include other services related to the library itself. Whatever your sphere of service: ‘Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.’ (1 Cor 15:58) N.B. Basic computer knowledge is essential and training on how to use our ‘user friendly programme’ will be given to all those interested. | How can I donate books? |
|
We welcome donations of new and used (in good condition) Christian books, to continue developing our Library Categories. Since we are a Christian Library committed to Historic Biblical Christianity all titles are checked before being added to the Library. The final decision to accept or refuse to add particular titles rests on the governing commitee. Publishing Houses and individual Christian writers are more than welcome to contact us by e-mail for any books they might wish to donate. For local donations we can ‘pick-up’ from all locations. For foreign donations we offer to incur all postal / postage fees / expenses. |

| Why and how should I donate to the Malta Evangelical Library? |

Your financial donation will help us to keep further enhancing our Library with more books, keep our website running, extend our services and also cover various expenses, especially the postage fees incurred when receiving books from abroad from all those generous publishers and donators who send them for free. Therefore we will accept, and greatly appreciate any financial donations which you might wish to give us. You can do this by filling the Donation Form found on our website. If you are able to offer financial support, we encourage you to give prayerfully and generously as the Lord may lead. ‘If it is giving, then give generously.’ (Rom 12:8) We want to thank you in advance for prayerfully considering how you may partner with us to fulfil Jesus’ Great Commission. We believe that books are one of God’s special ways to communicate His truth to us. God often uses the printed book to change the hearts of human beings. Your contribution enables us to continue reaching out to others at the Malta Evangelical Library which we all know God can use. Our intentions are to continue with the work that God has prepared for us in advance through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We also kindly ask you to pray for us that we may continue in obedience to what our good Shepherd has started and that He may use this Library to bring more precious souls to Himself and His truth. May His Holy Name be glorified in all that we do now and forever more. |
