O my Saviour, I am overtired and weary; the strain of my life has exhausted me; the pressure of daily business has robbed me of my old elasticity and spring. I have no strength even to cast my load on you. Forgive me for my lack of simple, childlike faith. Come near and give me rest. Take the burden I cannot cast on you; hush the fears I cannot allay; wipe the tears I cannot keep back. Amen.
